Karrington Ward isn't kicking around the campus Kankakee Community College (Ill.) Community College because of a lack of recruiting interest. He's not there to polish his skills or to add weight to his 200-pound frame. His unexpected stop in the small Illinois town was purely the result of academic struggles, and the numbers he put up as a freshman last season drive that point home.
