Elijah Thomas has been very vocal about his affinity for the Duke basketball program. He's also been very articulate with his praise for Mike Krzyzewski and how his leadership ability can make him a better player and person because of it.

Thomas can now say that he has had the opportunity to speak with Krzyzewski, as they recently did over the phone. And the sophomore center from Dallas, Texas tells DevilsIllustrated.com that it made an impression on him.
