Ogide averaged 25.3 points and 10.3 rebounds a game as a senior at Paulding County. He had also been recruited by Florida State this spring, after committing and signing - and then decommitting - from Virginia this past fall.
Ogide had excellent grades, and says he had been offered a scholarship by Vandy. "He really is the epitome of what we're looking for in a student-athlete at Ole Miss," Kennedy said. "He's a leader in the classroom, he's got a 3.8 GPA."
