K-State tops early signing period rankings

[rl]The first day of the early signing period is finally here, and Rivals.com is excited about presenting an early breakdown of our top 25 recruiting classes. This ranking is based on official commitments entering the day. It is not based on actual signed letters-of-intent at this point.
Once the dust settles after the signing period, we will account for all the changes - expected and unexpected. If there is significant movement we will adjust the rankings and produce a post-signing period top 25.
It is important to note that Kansas State freshman Bill Walker, who was originally in the class of 2007, jumped up to the class of 2006. Walker pursued an accelerated academic course this fall and recently learned he will be eligible to play for the Wildcats in December. For our purposes, we are still counting him in the 2007 Kansas State recruiting class. That is the "graduating class" he will be associated with in the future.
