On the surface, one might suggest that Notre Dame's ever-changing star-of-the-game tendencies display a bit of inconsistency.

Rarely are Irish players the leading figures two, three, four games in a row.

Notre Dame's lead dogs change so frequently that one might suspect they run hot and cold from one game to the next.

But that, of course, would be an inaccurate description of a team that spreads the wealth about as well as any Top 25 team in the country.

Notre Dame's statistic sheet looks fairly similar to just about any other basketball team in the country. Five players average double-figure scoring, although the fifth - Kyle McAlarney - hasn't played the last 16 games due to suspension.

So in essence, four players-Russell Carter, Colin Falls, Rob Kurz and Luke Harangody-average double-figure scoring. Two others-Tory Jackson and Zach Hillesland-are in the six-to-seven point range. Three others-Luke Zeller, Ryan Ayers, and Jonathan Peoples-combine for about another 10 points per game.
