Travis Releford is one step closer to making his way to Lawrence. On Sunday afternoon, the 6-foot-5, 190-pound shooting guard graduated from Bishop Miege High School in Shawnee Mission, Kan. Shortly after graduation, Releford, a four-star prospect, spoke to Jayhawk Slant about his immediate plans for the future.

It's certainly been a busy couple of months for Releford, the No. 70 ranked player in the class of 2008. After taking a trip to German to participate in the Albert Switzer games, he was named MVP of the Derby Classic shortly thereafter.
